This approach centers our work on harmful thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so we can work on the whole person to identify areas of need, allowing the opportunity to support those who have been feeling isolated or stuck. An initial goal is to create a space that is comfortable, safe, and productive. I work to develop a rapport with each client through three main areas of support: listening, validating, and challenging.
